    <description xml:lang="en" descriptionType="Abstract">This data archive collects displacement maps and wrapped interferograms produced by INGV InSAR working group and GeoSAR Laboratory.  The products are retrieved with standard InSAR processing applied to a single pair of SAR images acquired by several space agencies. They are provided in raster format and accompanied by files collecting the main parameters related to the acquisitions and the data processing.</description>
    <description xml:lang="it" descriptionType="Abstract">Questo archivio di dati raccoglie mappe di spostamento e interferogrammi arrotolati prodotti dal gruppo di lavoro InSAR e dal Laboratorio GeoSAR dell'INGV. I prodotti sono ottenuti mediante elaborazione InSAR standard applicata a una singola coppia di immagini SAR, acquisite da diverse agenzie spaziali. Sono forniti in formato raster e corredati di files che raccolgono i principali parametri relativi alle acquisizioni e all'elaborazione dei dati.</description>
    <description xml:lang="en" descriptionType="Methods">Differential SAR Interferometry allows to obtain ground displacement maps through the phase difference between two images acquired at different times over the same area.</description>
    <description xml:lang="en" descriptionType="TechnicalInfo">In order to achieve the displacement map, several processing steps are required, such as the co-registration of the two images, the generation of the interferogram, the removal of the topographic contribution by means of a digital model of the terrain (external source) , the filtering to reduce the noise, the unwrapping of the phase and finally the geocoding of the differencial phase.</description>
